The Japanese word that means to sit is ZA. Appropriately the bench series designed by Shin and Tomoko Azumi is also called ZA, which emphasizes the simplicity of this seating series. This simple yet unique bench design is perfect for adding a shapely form to any lounge or public area.

A collection of three units one seat, two seat, and a curved seat. The one and two seat units may be used alone or in combinations of straight, or shapely units when combined with the curved seat.

ZA Curved Unit 3-D Technology
The curved unit is the result of a unique 3-D bent plywood technology that allows for the unit to be shaped into three directions creating a curved formation and concaved seating area. The plywood is actually cut into strips like tooth picks and then re-formed into the three dimensional shape. Because of the unique technology, the only veneer offered is Oak, which allows for the best grain pattern.
